Last updated 12 September 2026. Third Wheel is made by Tiny Sagas, Melbourne, Australia ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app or the website you agree to these terms.
An app that, at your request, puts a block screen over the apps you choose on your own phone for a period you set, and shares that lock with the other people in your "heart". It's a tool for couples who both want it. It is not a parental control, a security product, or a way to control someone else's phone.
The app is free to install. Some features need a one-off purchase made through Google Play or the App Store, priced in your local currency. One purchase covers everyone in that heart. Refunds are handled under Google's or Apple's policies; contact us if something's gone wrong and we'll help. Prices and what's included may change for future purchases, never for one you've already made.
We work hard to make it reliable, but phones, networks and operating systems are outside our control. Android and iOS can end a lock (for example by force-stopping the app or removing a permission), and we can't prevent that; we'll tell your partner when we notice. The service is provided as is, and to the extent the law allows we aren't liable for loss arising from its use or from a lock ending or not ending. Nothing here limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or similar laws where you live.
Names and calendar data you put into a heart belong to you and the other members. You give us permission to store and show it to the members of the heart so the app works, and nothing more. Our privacy policy explains what we hold.
You can leave a heart or delete the app whenever you like. We can suspend accounts that break these terms. If we ever shut the service down we'll give reasonable notice.
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. If we change them we'll update the date above and tell you in the app if the change is significant. Questions: hello@thethirdwheel.co.
